Just a few weeks........

Is it my imagination or does she look so much older here? Maybe it is the new haircut. Thank you to Matt and Angela for sharing photos.

Court went well.  We are currently waiting on Lili's passport and then we are out of here. We are almost Lili's forever family!

I know in my heart that she can already feel the love that we have for her. Please keep praying for her and Carter to adjust well. So many changes for everyone!  We are getting very anxious. Also, please pray for Justin and I. We are not crazy about being away from Carter for a week. Especially when we look at the map and we are half way around the world from him. Okay, before I get  going on this subject!

Court Date

Please keep Lili in your prayers Monday.

Ted or Anna will be in court representing us. Pray that the correct papers are there and that we get to bring our precious daughter home soon. We are ready..... She has clothes, a pink room, and family and friends ready to give her lots of love, hugs and kisses. I wonder if her little feet will touch the floor the first few weeks that she is here? 

Justin has the idea that Lili will be a Daddy's girl - I say that he has another thing coming!

Look Out Second Grade......

First day of  second grade. Carter did just fine- Mom was a little sappy. Will I get this way each year? 

Carter has a few friends in his class.  I was teasing him and said that maybe we should have him moved to another class so there would not be any trouble and  he said "there was no use in two teachers being miserable".  Hopefully he was teasing also. Ha Ha.

 He is a good kid and will have a great school year.

Carter is ready for his sister to come home. Although, he did mention locking his bedroom door when he goes to school.

He is proud to be a big brother.

We are attempting our first blog. We want to share the excitement of traveling to Taiwan to bring our daughter home. We have INS approval and are patiently waiting for the call to fly to Taiwan.
